The votes were in and we’re very pleased to have been named first runner up. You can’t throw a stick without hitting a brunch restaurant in our area, so being this close to number one is testament to our food, service, and philosophy. The Boathouse won, primarily because they’re on the beach and the views are excellent, so we won’t begrudge them that. We will begrudge the fact that they don’t take reservations and weekend waits can be upward of three hours to be seated. (Hint: we take reservations and our downtown vibe can be a perfect change from filling your shoes with sand…)
